We are delighted to announce our latest step in our sustainability Journey #BeGreenBeSeen – and it is possibly our most important, and most exciting, step yet: after partnering with Forest Carbon and investing into the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve in Borneo, Indonesia, we have offset 765 tonnes of logistics emissions from 2020.
Today is International Mother Earth Day, a day designed to shine a spotlight on the need to protect our planet. We feel it is the perfect occasion to announce the next stop of our #BeGreenBeSeen campaign.
Around this time last year, we launched our #BeGreenBeSeen campaign – our pledge to creating a greener, more sustainable future for not only ourselves as a business, but the planet in general.
We released a video last April outlining the steps we had already taken, such as installing solar panels onto our warehouse roof, implementing electric cars into the business, and removing plastic banding from all our imported boxes.
On top of this we mentioned a few things that we had in the pipeline, and we feel now, nearly 12 months on and on
PULSAR® are delighted and proud to announce we have become an official supporter of Pink Ribbon Foundation (Reg Charity no. 1080839), which is a grant making trust with a mission to fund projects by providing financial support to UK charities that help people who are suffering from and have been affected by Breast Cancer.
Pink Ribbon Foundation are not like many other trusts and foundations. They have very little infrastructure, relying on the hard work of Trustees, interested parties and Patrons in order to maximise the amount that goes to the charities who benefit from the funds raised.
Over 150 charities have been supported by Pink Ribbon Foundation, with the funds raised helping in many ways – whether it be therapy sessions for patients and families, specialist equipment for nurses or vital research into the disease, every penny makes a
In this addition of our new series of blogs: ‘Digging Deeper, we take a closer look at the ground-breaking technology behind the award-winning PULSAR® LED Active Range – which consists of two waterproof Storm Coats and a Harness.
The Storm Coats, essentially, are the same garment as our standard Unlined Storm Coats – made up of the same Class 3 waterproof and breathable fabric and incorporate all the same beneficial features, including reflective piping detail to the pockets, underarm ventilation for increased breathability and a full length 2-way YKK zip. All we have done is integrated our Active technology…

Arguably the most technical and complicated PPE garments are the ones that protect you from the most dangerous working hazards – these garments are the ones that make up the PULSAR® Flame Retardant, Anti-static and Electric ARC collection.
As we head towards the winter months and the weather begins to get progressively worse, we understand that wearers in all parts of the country need protective clothing that will keep them safe, visible and also comfortable whilst carrying out their daily tasks.
We also understand that workers deserve to know the products they are wearing perform, but it can be hard to keep up with all of the technical jargon used to describe the garments – which is why we have developed a brand new series of blogs. ‘Digging Deeper’ is a monthly blog that will break down the clothing we sell – and help you, the wearer, understand what exactly it is you are wearing. Up first is our innovative Evolution collection…
After the huge success of the inaugural year of 'Safety in Numbers' in 2018, we again joined with JSP and Polyco Healthline in May 2019 as we headed to the Railtex exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham.
It was a no-brainer to continue the 'Safety in Numbers' journey into 2019 after the brilliant feedback we gained last year from all over the PPE industry.
