PULSAR® are delighted and proud to announce we have become an official supporter of Pink Ribbon Foundation (Reg Charity no. 1080839), which is a grant making trust with a mission to fund projects by providing financial support to UK charities that help people who are suffering from and have been affected by Breast Cancer.

Pink Ribbon Foundation are not like many other trusts and foundations. They have very little infrastructure, relying on the hard work of Trustees, interested parties and Patrons in order to maximise the amount that goes to the charities who benefit from the funds raised.

Over 150 charities have been supported by Pink Ribbon Foundation, with the funds raised helping in many ways – whether it be therapy sessions for patients and families, specialist equipment for nurses or vital research into the disease, every penny makes a difference.

The statistics show just how traumatic Breast Cancer is for people diagnosed with it and also their families and friends.

  • 12,000 women sadly die every year from Breast Cancer
  • 1 in every 8 women in the UK will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer at some point in their life
  • Every 10 minutes in the UK, somebody is diagnosed with Breast Cancer

As sad and as devastating as these stats are, the work that trusts such as Pink Ribbon Foundation have done to support charities across the country means that more women are now surviving Breast Cancer than ever before. In fact, almost two thirds of women who are diagnosed with breast cancer today now survive their disease beyond 20 years – and the 5-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 50% to 80% in the last 40 years. So, it is getting better.

With our ever-growing, innovative Ladies range of protective clothing, and now with the introduction of our brand-new Blush AirGill Face Masks, we saw this as the perfect opportunity to help support such an important cause.

PULSAR® are committed to donating from the sale of every PULSAR® Ladies garment sold through the website as well as every garment sold through the PULSAR® distribution network.

Together, we can all make a positive difference in the fight against Breast Cancer.
